Step 1

Initial Requirement Consultation

Unlike traditional retail jewellers, Essex Bespoke Jewellery offers a truly personal approach. Depending on your chosen consultation, one of our expert jewellers can meet with you in person or remotely via video call, or at our Chelmsford Private Showroom, guiding you through every stage of creating your bespoke piece.

Our typical lead time is 4–6 weeks from design approval. If you require your jewellery sooner, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss your timeframe and available options.

Step 2

A Beautiful Illustration of your Design

After gathering your ideas and understanding your vision, our talented artisans will create a beautiful hand-drawn illustration that brings your bespoke design to life.

Once your illustration is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to review the design and request any revisions or refinements. In our experience, clients typically find that very few changes are needed, but this stage gives you the opportunity to make any final tweaks and ensure the design is exactly as you envisioned before we move forward.

Step 3

3D Lifelike Digital Renders

Once you've signed off on the sketch, we'll transform your design from 2D concept art into a stunning 3D lifelike digital render.

Once your illustration is complete, you can undergo two rounds of feedback and amendments. However, based on experience, these are often unnecessary. If you want extra rounds of feedback, you'll need to purchase them as a bolt-on purchase. This policy ensures that clients who do not require additional rounds of amendments are not charged extra for this part of the service.

Step 4

Bespoke Jewellery Construction Quote

Our artisan jewellers can now give you a final quote for your bespoke handmade piece to be made, along with expected completion deadlines. You'll receive your quote via an official email from EBJ with a link to pay for your custom piece via our website checkout.

Our bespoke commissions typically start from £2,000

Step 5

Jewellery Construction

Our expert jewellers will handcraft your design in our Essex workshop. With meticulous attention to detail, we guarantee the highest quality jewellery with hand-selected diamonds and gemstones.

Our bespoke handmade jewellery pieces are all crafted using recycled metal and ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones as standard.

Step 6

Receiving Your Custom Piece

If your consultation package includes a fitting, we will hand-deliver your jewellery pieces. We also offer a recorded special delivery service direct to your door.

All our Jewellery pieces will come in a beautiful EBJ gold embossed black gift bag. Each piece will be secured in its plush black jewellery box.
