How much does a bespoke pendant or necklace cost at Essex Bespoke Jewellery?

The cost of a bespoke pendant or necklace depends on your chosen precious metal, diamonds or gemstones and the complexity of the design. Every piece at Essex Bespoke Jewellery is individually designed and quoted, allowing Adam and Arran to create something around your ideas, preferences and budget. Our bespoke commissions typically start from £3000

How long does it take to make a bespoke pendant or necklace?

Most bespoke pendants and necklaces take approximately 3–4 weeks to complete once your design and order are confirmed. Every piece is individually handcrafted in our Essex workshops before being hallmarked where required, finished and quality checked. If your jewellery is for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion, let us know your required date during your consultation.

Can I design my own pendant or necklace at your Chelmsford showroom?

Yes. Our private, appointment-only Chelmsford showroom allows you to discuss your ideas directly with Adam and Arran. We’ll explore your preferred design, precious metal, gemstones, chain and finer details before your bespoke pendant or necklace is individually handcrafted in our Essex workshops.

Can you make a bespoke diamond or gemstone pendant?

Yes. We can create bespoke pendants featuring natural or lab-grown diamonds and a wide variety of coloured gemstones. We can source suitable stones specifically for your commission and guide you through different shapes, sizes, qualities and setting styles to create a piece that is uniquely yours.

Can you use my existing diamonds or gemstones in a new pendant?

Yes. Where suitable, we can incorporate diamonds and gemstones from existing, inherited or sentimental jewellery into a new bespoke pendant or necklace. Our jewellers will assess your stones before discussing suitable designs, allowing you to preserve their sentimental meaning while creating something you'll enjoy wearing.

Can you make a pendant to fit an existing chain?

Yes. If you already own a chain you would like to use, we can design your bespoke pendant around it. We'll consider the chain's width, weight, precious metal and fittings to create a suitable bail or alternative attachment that complements the pendant and allows it to sit correctly when worn.

Can you create a personalised or meaningful necklace?

Absolutely. Many of our bespoke pendants and necklaces are created to celebrate a person, memory or significant moment. We can incorporate birthstones, diamonds, initials, engraving and other meaningful design details to create a completely individual piece with a story behind it.
