One of our most memorable projects was for Matthew Walton, who entrusted us with the creation of custom wedding bands for himself and his wife. These bands were infused with a deeply personal touch—sand from the beach in Cornwall, where they were to be married.

One of our most memorable projects was for Matthew Walton, who entrusted us with creating custom wedding bands for himself and his wife, infused with a deeply personal touch—sand from the beach in Cornwall, where they were to be married.

1. The Consultation Process

Matthew opted for our in-person consultation package, allowing us to meet face-to-face and fully explore his vision. During this consultation, he shared his unique idea: he wanted the sand from their special location to be incorporated into both wedding bands, making their rings not just symbols of love but also a physical connection to the place where they said, “I do.”

2.1. A Unique Epoxy Resin Design

We developed a specialised epoxy resin technique to ensure the sand remained visible and elegantly showcased.

Matthew's wedding band was A double-row platinum band, custom-made with two channels filled with Cornish beach sand encased in epoxy resin, creating a striking and sentimental design.

The second 'ladies' band was a single-row 18ct white gold ring designed to complement her engagement ring, which featured the same epoxy resin and sand effect. Additionally, we shaped the ladies’ wedding band to fit seamlessly against her engagement ring, ensuring a perfect, tailored look.

2.2. Expanding the love with an Eternity Ring

Thrilled with the results of their rings, Matthew returned with another request—a half-eternity ring for his wife, also shaped to fit her engagement and wedding band. We designed and crafted the piece in 18ct white gold, featuring a stunning row of diamonds, offering timeless elegance while maintaining the perfect fit alongside her existing rings.

3. The Result... Pure Happiness

The final set of rings was a testament to love, craftsmanship, and personal storytelling. Matthew and his wife were overjoyed with the final pieces, leaving us five-star reviews on Google and Trustpilot—a reflection of their satisfaction and our commitment to excellence.
