Gemstones and Diamonds with a carat weight of less than 1.99ct are considered budget-friendly options for a primary stone setting. Anything under 0.20ct is ideal for melee/accent shoulder set rings. Colourless (D-F)

'D' is the highest colour grade, meaning it has nearly no colour. Under magnification and to the naked eye, a 'D' colour diamond will appear colourless. 'F' and 'E' diamonds will look almost identical to 'D' diamonds unless you are an expert gemologist viewing each diamond next to each other with magnification.

We recommend pairing 'D' to 'F' grade diamonds (especially 'D') with platinum or white gold settings, as yellow or rose gold would likely detract from the diamond's uncoloured beauty.
