Round Diamond Platinum Pendant, 4 Claw Solitaire | RP1001

A smooth, shiny surface that reflects light. It's created using abrasive compounds or a polishing wheel to remove imperfections from the metal.

A classic solitaire pendant featuring a single diamond or gemstone as the focal point of the design. Set securely in a refined claw setting to maximise light and brilliance, the solitaire style offers a timeless, elegant finish that allows the centre stone to take prominence.

The four rounded prongs secure the gemstone while maximizing visibility and reducing the risk of snagging on clothing.

A trace chain, also known as a cable or anchor chain, features uniform, oval-shaped links that fit closely together, resulting in a fine and delicate appearance. Although often mistaken for a belcher chain due to its similar shape, a trace chain is constructed from solid round wire, whereas a belcher chain is formed from curved strips of alloy. Trace chains are a popular choice in jewellery for holding pendants or charms, as well as for layering with other necklaces.

Its high density and chemical composition make it more durable than gold. It is also hypoallergenic, making it suitable for sensitive skin. However, it can lose its polish and sharp edges more quickly than gold, requiring regular professional polishing to maintain its top condition.
