What can we tell you about these Tennis Bracelets?

Anatomy, Style & Specifications

A tennis bracelet is a flexible, delicate piece of jewellery featuring a continuous line of symmetrical gemstones, traditionally diamonds, set in a precious metal chain. The style is known for its elegance and is versatile enough for both casual and formal wear. The name originated after professional tennis player Chris Evert requested that a match be paused during the 1987 U.S. Open to search for her diamond bracelet, which had snapped in mid-game.

Setting

Scallop

Gemstones are arranged in a scallop shell pattern, secured by tiny claws, creating a unique and intricate design.

Alloy

18k White Gold

Made up of 75% pure gold and 25% other alloys, such as palladium, silver and nickel. It's typically plated with rhodium to give it a bright, reflective finish when purchased. Still, this finish can wear off over time, revealing a more yellowish hue to the ring. 18k white gold has a richer colour and is less durable than its 9k counterpart.

Finish

Polished

A smooth, shiny surface that reflects light. It's created using abrasive compounds or a polishing wheel to remove imperfections from the metal.

Lets Talk about the Gemstones used in this piece.

It's all about the Diamonds

Colour

Near Colourless (G-J)

Near Colourless diamonds are cheaper than their Colourless counterparts. They appear primarily colourless to the naked eye. Their slight yellow tint is only visible when compared to higher grades of diamonds.

Shape

Round

The most popular modern diamond cut for engagement rings and any melee diamonds or gemstones placed on the ring's shank.

Source

Natural

Any gemstone labelled 'Natural' has been mined from beneath the earth's surface and formed naturally over thousands of years. It's rare to find natural gemstones and diamonds with high clarity grades, which, as a rule, makes them more expensive than their lab-grown equivalents.

FLEX Diamond Collection

As we journey through life, our hands change, and sometimes our favourite rings and bracelets can become obstacles to our daily tasks, be lost in a commotion or even become a hazard and injure us. Even the weather can impact your comfort, as your limbs swell when it's warm and slim down when it's cold. Arthritis and Rheumatism can also dampen the joy of wearing rings, in particular, which is why we've created our revolutionary FLEX Jewellery collections.
